Meeny's Story...
Available for Pre-adoption! Eeny, Meeny, Miny, and Moe will be ready to go to furever homes on 7/18/15 and, until then, we are taking applications for pre-adoption. Their mommy was a small black lab and we think daddy was a Border Collie mix. Eeny and Meeny are both females. Eeny is the one that is all black and white and looks the most Border Collie. Meeny looks like a fluffy version of her two brothers. Miny and Moe are the males and they look very much alike. We think these babies will be about medium in size when fully grown and we can tell they are very smart babies!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Meeny, a Macon Border Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Macon, or seeking a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Macon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Macon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Macon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Border Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Macon paves the way for another one to be saved.
