Facts about Peeta

  • Breed: Domestic Mediumhair
  • Color: Tiger Striped
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Male
  • Hair: Medium
Peeta is the sweet and quiet kitten in the litter. He certainly has his share of kitten energy, but is much more at home in your lap or warming your feet than he is mixing it up with his siblings. He's so soft and cuddly, you won't mind at all when he becomes permanently affixed to your lap. He is a tad reserved, and takes some time to warm up to strangers, but he is good with other cats and doesn't mind dogs at all.

Peeta's adoption fee is $50. This covers all of his vetting. If you would like to meet him, please email us at furkidrescue@hotmail.com to request an adoption application.

About Furkid Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Furkid Rescue is a small, private home-based rescue located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. We officially started our organized rescue efforts in the spring of 2008, but have been rescuing and working with other rescue groups and local shelters for over 5 years. We take in mainly Pit Bull puppies who have been rescued from gas kill pounds, animal control facilities, backyard breeders, or people who are no longer able to keep their pets. We rarely take in owner’s surrenders unless we find that the owner has a valid reason for abandoning the pet. Furkid Rescue will also save other breeds when there is room in one of our breed-experienced foster homes. You may see mastiffs, chihuahuas, or a fabulous mutt who needs a wonderful home! Please visit our main site to read more about our rescue, our adoption process, and to download an adoption application. www.furkidrescue.org

Come Meet Our Pets...

We do not have a physical location. We try to give our animals the best foster experience possible, not only for their comfort, but to implement training and make sure they are getting the best care imaginable. Once you are approved for an meet and greet, we are more than willing to bring the dog to your home so that you can spend time with the dog(s) of your choice

Our Adoption Process...

There is always an adoption fee to cover medical expenses such as spay/neuter/shots/pound fees.
There is a home check and contract that is required to adopt a dog.
