Are you a sucker for a scruffy puppy? Does wiry fur with a mind of it’s own melt your heart too? Well have we got the girl for you. Meet Cosima! She is an 11-month-old, 17 Lb. Border collie & cattle dog. Though she may look like a rough and tumble puppy she is actually a sweet and gentle little lady. Ok, maybe there’s a dash of rough and tumble thrown in too. Cosima is smart and willing to learn. She is still very young and will need a home willing to provide training and guidance so that she can grow and succeed. ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. Completed applications can be submitted online, faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization that seeks to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome pets from high kill shelters and is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
