Facts about Missy

  • Breed: Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) Mix
  • Color: Brown/Chocolate
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
  • Sex: Female
Missy is a very sweet little lady who just adores people. She is a little nervous sometimes but she tries not to show it. She gets along well with other dogs but she is very independent and satisfied to be alone too. She may be blind in one eye but she still sees great and can spot a squirrel in the top of a 100' oak tree. She is also very patient and will wait for hours for the squirrel to move! Missy LOVES a good belly run more than anything and when approached, she immediately rolls over and puts her paw in the air so cute like she is asking for a "high five" but it is actually a request for a belly rub. Missy is a heartworm positive little girl and she is on the slow-kill treatment and doing very well. With continued treatment, she should be negative just in time for next summer. Since she has heartworms, it is very important to keep her weight at a healthy number. Missy is quiet but will alert you to strange noises. She does very good with her house training and she is also crate trained.
Home visit is required and if you want to be Missy's best friend, please reply with your location. Thanks so much for looking at rescued pets!
