Navajo's Story...
Navajo is silver tabby boy with a little white chin and light green eyes. Navajo is a confident cat, he comes right up to you for attention and if he feels you’re not giving him enough he’ll grab at you with his paws and head butt you continuously until he feels he’s gotten all the love he deserves. Navajo will also talk to you to tell you to pet him more too, he knows what he wants and knows how to get it. Navajo like to play, especially with the wand toy or any toys with string. He gets very focused on the toy and wants to grab at it with his paws and wrestle with it.

Navajo gets along well with other cats, he lived with them before in his previous home and should do well with them in his new home with proper introductions. Navajo was adopted out once before but his owner could no longer care for him so he came back to 4Paws to find a new home. Come and check out Navajo and see what a wonderful boy he is!

Navajo was born in May 2009. He has been neutered, tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia and is up to date on all his shots.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Navajo, a Merrifield Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Merrifield, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Merrifield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Merrifield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Merrifield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Merrifield paves the way for another one to be saved.
