I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking

Porter's Info...

I am purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Porter's Story...
Porter is an awesome gorgeous guy with the classic hound bray!! While he may have a lot to say, he wants nothing more than someone to love and cuddle with! Porter has slightly bowed legs most likely due to malnutrition/poor diet when he was a puppy. It doesn't affect him in any way and he still wants to run and play with everyone! Porter has been vaccinated and is scheduled for his neuter. The adoption fee will go up after the neuter. Unknown age but seems younger 9-12 mos.

Adoption Fee: $175 + tax

Most of the animals that come to our shelter were previously strays. We have no background info or vaccination or health history unless we vetted them. We do not DNA test the animals before adoption, so we do not know actual breed(s) of the animals. Ages are approximate.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Porter, a Sauk Rapids Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Coonhound for sale in Sauk Rapids, or seeking a Coonhound dog from a breeder in Sauk Rapids.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sauk Rapids already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sauk Rapids breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Coonhound breeders who help with Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sauk Rapids paves the way for another one to be saved.
