Meet Twinkie, an adorable yellow shepherd mix filled with nothing but sweetness. Though a bit of a timid nature, she is super affectionate and gentle. She will follow you everywhere. Allow her up on the bed, and she'll sleep next to you all night. Give her a toy, and she'll play with it until she's tuckered out. Then she'll go into her crate to relax without even any coaxing. She's good with other dogs. And she tries to play with the cats in her foster home - although that's not going over too well with the cats :) She's still a bit afraid of the big outdoors with all its cars and noises, but her foster mom is helping her get more acclimated to leash walking.

Twinkie is about 4 months old and weighs in just over 15 pounds. Since we don't know what breed or size she will grow into, only those willing to take pot luck need apply! Because of her young age, she will need to go to a home with a stay-at-home person who will continue with her training and socialization and keep her well exercised. Lots of activity and puppy school is a must.

Twinkie's adoption fee of $325 includes vet exam, distemper combo vaccination, bordetella vaccination, rabies vaccination, deworming, heartworm preventative, flea & tick preventative, microchip and spay.
