Dolly's Story...
Dolly was with another rescue and was very scared in their shelter so we moved her here.
Dolly is around 4 years old and is very gorgeous and very petite, as well as super sweet with humans and great with all the other dogs. Dolly is well behaved in the house, the couch is her favorite spot , but she also loves to go out in the fenced yard and zoom around. She is beautiful to watch run, and she gets so much joy from that. Dolly has really come around alot once getting here and having buddies to run and play with and she needs someone to continue working with her and continue giving her confidence. She is so beautiful and so compact and is going to make someone a wonderful companion. Dolly can be cat tested upon request.

Dolly, a Bakersville Treeing Walker Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Treeing Walker Coonhound for sale in Bakersville, or seeking a Treeing Walker Coonhound dog from a breeder in Bakersville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bakersville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bakersville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Treeing Walker Coonhound breeders who help with Treeing Walker Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bakersville paves the way for another one to be saved.
