My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Melao was left behind in an abandoned home, the police was investigating a crime next door and found him there so thirsty that he drank all the bottles of water they had. But they did not take him, just told a police woman who called me and told me the address where this fur angel was to go pick him up. We arrived and he was nowhere to be found, my friend looked in the yard and could not see him but she insisted and finally saw him hiding behind the bushes, so shy and scared...but
he came to us wagging his tail and so happy to see someone that was going to help him! He had been without food and water for days I believe, drinking rain water in that fenced in yard with 90's heat...
Now he is safe, but needs a loving home, he is a "love bug" super playful and wonderful. I named him Melao as it means Molasses in Spanish made from Sugar Cane, that's how sweet he is.
He is around 5 months old, wonderful disposition, gets along with other dogs and kids.
