Babs's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.

Babs's Story...
At 10 months old Babs is still a kitten - she is petite and adorable. Yet, she has been through so much in her short life - she was listed to be killed in the NYC kill shelter and for no reason except for the lack of space in the underfunded shelter. We rescued her after seeing a volunteer plea for her. Calicos are pretty but often don't like other cats and are a little temperamental. Some calicos. Not Babs. She is a love, loves cts and kittens and starts purring the moment you look at her.

We had Babs spayed and she is ready for her forever home. Run don't walk to adopt this sweet beautiful girl.

Babs is 10 months old, spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and tested for FIV and FELV.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Babs, a Brooklyn American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
