Allie's Story...
Allie is a a dark gray short hair young cat who was brought to C.A.R.E. with her three siblings, Magnum PI, Silver and Rascal. Her mom is the beautiful gray Mona, a real stunner herself. Alley is a true beauty and has the most luxurious soft fur. She loves to play with the other cats at the shelter and really enjoys sunning on the lanai. Her favorite place to be is on anything high; she loves the cat towers. But she would like to come to live at a forever home of her own. Please come and see this lovely girl and give her that home. Alley has been spayed, micro chipped, and she is current on her shots. DOB: July 2, 2012.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Allie, a Ruskin American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Ruskin, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Ruskin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ruskin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ruskin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ruskin paves the way for another one to be saved.
