Dexter 1's Story...
Hi! My name is Dexter (Jonah) and I am approximately 3 years old. I have had some training, know my basic commands, and potty and crate trained. I try very hard to please you and like when you tell me how good I am. I love kids and all people. I do not like cats. I need a decent, grain free food to keep me healthy. I live with female dogs, but I need time and effort to meet new dogs, so a dog park freaks me out and is not good for me. I require daily exercise as I am a high energy guy. I love to play in the water, and play fetch with you. I am fearful when strangers approach me when I am in my crate, so I currently do not attend adoption events. I'm a fun guy, just looking for someone to understand my needs and I have so much love to give you. My foster mom, Dawn, can be reached at 702-218-8081 to meet me and complete an interest application at www.ahome4spot.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dexter 1, a Las Vegas Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Las Vegas, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Las Vegas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Las Vegas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Las Vegas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Las Vegas paves the way for another one to be saved.
