Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Take a look at this great face .Pokey is a great guy, good on a leash, good with kids and just perfect for any family. He's about 1 to 2 years old. He was very patient at adoptions ; never messed in his cage ; it just wasn't his day to find a home. This guy could be housebroken. They stay in cages so we haves no way to know.. Adopting a shelter animal from animal control is saving a life and they are willing to learn quickly and make wonderful pets. Just ask someone who adopted a shelter pet. They will tell you they were worth it. . . there is a great adoption friendly interaction room you can take your other pet or your family to visit with them. The shelter is at 650 John Howell Memorial Drive in Lincolnton, NC. Phone 704 736 4125. If you call you need to give them his shelter ID number. ,It is newly remodeled too. Hours of operation for adopting are 11 to 4:30, Mon-sat. you can adopt the same day. For only 85.00 you get the spay or neuter, rabies vaccine, annual disease preventative vaccines, a worming, a microchip and even 30 days of free insurance. A great deal in services. Please ask a rescue to step in and help you save Koda ; his time is up this week. ; the shelter is at capacity and healthy dogs are in jeopardy. T hanks for looking.
