Bear's Story...
HURRICANE SANDY SURVIVOR found in Staten Island after the storm. Bear says: I'm a family dog; The volunteers at the shelter where I came from (NYC) all wanted to walk me, that's how nice they thought I was. I was picked up by rescue the day I was due to be put to sleep because the shelter ran out of room. How I am looking for a safe and cosy place to make my home. Bear has been kid-tested and does fine with them. His evaluation from the shelter indicates that he would be good with other dogs. Of course, we would have to have him meet any potential dog friends. Bear's adoption fee is a very reasonable $50 plus a donation to my rescue, whatever you can afford. If you are interested in meeting this very special dog, please email us at ThePolishedPitbull@gmail.com Bear is available for an overnight trial.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bear, a Kimberton American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Kimberton, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Kimberton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kimberton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kimberton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kimberton paves the way for another one to be saved.
