Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Emily was originally with another rescue that fell on hard times and we offered to take Emily on. When she was pulled from a high kill shelter they found out she was heart worm positive. With Emily being timid and around 7 or 8 years old we decided to do the slow kill on her, 9 months later she is heart worm negative. We have had her at adoption events to get use to seeing a lot of people and she has done great. She is how ever a dominate female so does best with dogs that will let her be in charge. She is great with several of the foster dogs in her home so it is not that she needs to be an only dog, just needs to have submissive dogs to play with. Please understand that Emily is timid and will not come running to you, this will just take a bit of time. She is a very sweet dog and has so much love to give. Her foster family have a 6 year old little boy and she is great with him. She is current on all shots, fixed, heart worm negative and on monthly prevention.
