Mia's Story...
Mia was probably born around February or March of 2015. She is just a doll. She was thrown from her home to fend for herself. Poor Mia cried and cried to get back in, but her family didn't care. We took her in, skinny and covered in fleas. Mia is now all ready for a "good" home this time around. She loves attention and all people. She can purr with the best of em! If you think you could give Mia the love she deserves, please contact us for a meet N greet. Ohh and Mia is up to date on vaccines, has a microchip and is already spayed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mia, a Bay City American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Bay City, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bay City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bay City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bay City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bay City paves the way for another one to be saved.
