"Tilly"'s Story...
"Tilly" is a 1 yr old 8 pound "Maltipoo" Maltese Miniature Poodle. Tilly is micro-chipped, spayed and current with all vaccines. She has a current health certificate & is heart-worm tested negative. Tilly is as cute and happy as they come. She would like a moderately active, secure home environment. Another small dog close in age to play with would be her desire. In her foster home we notice she really likes men so we think she was a"Daddy's" girl. She is potty trained but a rescue dog so she may have accidents. The adopter is responsible to continue to instill routine. She is such a sweetie whoever adopts her is getting a precious angel. She likes to go for a walk and isn't fearful of anything. Tilly is a snuggler and likes to sleep with her person. Tilly is semi-active and requires daily stimulation. A walk 2 times a day minimum of 1 mile would be ideal. She would be best in a family that is routine semi-active. Tilly was saved from a high kill shelter in CA. Tilly is healthy, beautiful and has the softest fur. Tilly likes other dogs and cats. She is seeking a home that is semi-active, routine, calm non hectic and willing to be patience and show her life is good! She is very smart and a fast learner a fenced yard is required or Condo type dweller, or someone who works from home. She is crate trained but prefers to sleep with her people. She currently sleeps with her foster. She is learning commands & walks ok on a leash. The ideal family would be devoted to taking a basic obedience class to master recall. She will bond fast with her person. This little girl is ready for her forever trusting family to show her love and fun. Tilly is a easy dog that is considered low shedding and hypoallergenic. Tilly is going to make a great addition to the right family. Before applying please do the research on how to prepare for a dog. We recommend that you have everything in place prior to bringing home a dog. i.e. crate, pee pads, food, puppy sitter etc. Leaving a dog home for 8 hrs per day will not work with out someone to help care for the dog. Home check and references required. Adoption fee: 595.00 Includes spay, health certificate, grooming, flea treatment, vaccines, rabies, microchip and 30 day Pet insurance. Why Adoption is a Great Option

"Tilly", a Seattle Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Seattle, or seeking a Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Seattle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seattle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seattle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seattle paves the way for another one to be saved.
