Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi. I am Benny. I am a little shy when I first meet people, but once I get to know them (5-10 minutes), I want to be their best friend. My foster mom wants you to know that I am a terrier mix, about 5 years old, about 21 lbs, crate trained and housebroken.
I was a stray in Southern Illinois. I was kept at a shelter for several weeks, but then CDR came into the picture. When I came to them I was not feeling very well and I looked pretty bad too (as you can tell from picture 3). I have bad ear infections and did not want anyone to touch me. I am now on medicine for my ear infections and am feeling some better. I now love to be pet, but still not thrilled with being brushed. My foster mom says that I follow her around like a little puppy dog. (I am right beside my foster mom right now as she is doing her typing.)
She wants you to know that I have been good with the other small dogs at her house, good with her cat, and good with all the people that live at the house and their visitors. She also said that I would do best in a home that does not have small children as I tend to be a little sensitive to hard touch.
If you could find room in your heart and home for me, I could be YOUR best friend. If you think that I could be the one for you, please contact CDR as soon as possible. I really would like to meet you.
BENNY
