Oreo's Story...
What’s better than taking home a bag of Oreos? Well, taking home a single 14 1/2 pound Oreo, of course! (That’d be me, in case you didn’t get it!) I’m a 4 year old Terrier/Chihuahua mix who is looking for a new yard and a new home to call my own! I need to be the only dog in the house, but that shouldn’t be a problem because, hey, do you really need anything more than me? Look at me! I’m a quirky little thing (Aren’t all Chihuahua mixes?) who will definitely be the one to choose you and not quite the other way around. So, if you’re lucky enough, I just might see something special in you and declare you to be “THE ONE.” What say you? Are you up to the challenge? Do you dare to meet me in person? Come hither!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oreo, a Reading Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Reading, or seeking a Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Reading.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Reading already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Reading breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Reading paves the way for another one to be saved.
