Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MR TUCKER is a 13 year old male umbrella cockatoo. Yes, he is also a healthy, enthusiastic and sometimes loud cockatoo. After spending the day in the aviary with his best friend Pippin, also a 13 year old male cockatoo who is adoptable through Phoenix Landing, Mr Tucker comes inside and bangs bowls and pans around his cage to make his own ''music'', throws toy parts everywhere, hides under the paper and plays peek-a-boo, and generally has a great time while winding down his busy day.
But, Mr Tucker is also very well socialized and enjoys the company of the whole family. He has many endearing things to say, especially when it is sleep time and he wants you to know how much he appreciates the good life.
Cockatoos are SUPER smart, and males are especially good at mechanical things, like opening cages and detroying toys. It’s important to keep them busy, busy, busy to avoid problem behaviors that result from being bored.
Mr Tucker is a fairly independent Cockatoo and would do well with a family willing to
keep him busy, but ideally, we would like to send him to a home where he could stay with his best friend Pippin.
