Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pippa was technically just a kitten herself when she arrived at a public kill shelter along with her 4 three week old kittens. Now that the kittens are weaned and ready for adoption, Pippa is eager to find a forever family to call her own. This petite girl, weighing less than 6 lbs, is extremely outgoing and affectionate and still very much a kitten herself (Estimated at 10 mos old). She loves attention, lap time, and is very dog-like in that she is a door greeter and doesn't want to be shut away from what's going on in the house. Pippa makes biscuits CONSTANTLY (even if just standing in front of you!) and purrs her super-loud purr starting the minute you open the door.
She would be fine living in an apartment or would make the purr-fect family pet...gentle enough for children; fine with a low key dog after a brief acclimation period. She has shown some aggression to other cats but that could be due to her being protective of her kittens so it's unclear how she'd do with another feline companion. Meet her in her Arlington, VA foster home. (More pictures coming soon) Posted 7/17/15
