Wendy's Story...
Hi everybody. My name is Wendy. I'm housetrained, great with kids and other animals! How could I be any more awesome!?!

I am a 2 year old Lab Mix looking for my forever home and not a drive thru. I love to run, swim, go to the park, and play with a good tennis ball. I am super friendly and get along with everyone. Truth be told I haven't met a burger I didn't like. Ssshhh. I am UTD on all my shots and spayed. Let's face it, I am way better than a fast food place. So call in your order for 1 adorable and sweet best friend named Wendy. I will even see if I can snatch us one of those yummy Frosty's for the road. See you soon!

Please apply to foster or adopt by visiting our website www.RuralAnimalRescueEffort.org
An application and home visit are required. Once your application is received, we will call you and answer any questions you have. All animals are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccines prior to adoption.
Our adoption fees not only help the animal being adopted, but they also help to cover heartworm treatments and other treatable ailments that many animals, that would otherwise be euthanized, need to be made available for adoption.
Out of state adoptions are possible, and transport is provided at no additional cost to the adopter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wendy, a Franklin Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie for sale in Franklin, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Franklin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Franklin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Franklin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Border Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Franklin paves the way for another one to be saved.
