Hi People,
My name is Bobby and I am a loving and housebroken bichon mix. I was initially owned by a lady who (most unkindly) removed my front claws. I was glad when she left for China because that is when some really good things started to happen -- and I became the loving and loyal companion to a wonderful older lady whose husband had just passed away. For eight years I loved and protected her – and became her best friend . Sadly last month, my Mom had to move to an Assisted Living facility and she was not able to take me. She was heartbroken -- and so was I!
So I became a FurKid and had a wonderful foster mom who had just lost her own bichon. She taught me to enjoy long walks (I took off a few pounds and feel better now) and to enjoy the dog park. I played with her grandchildren and even got along with their cat! While she taught me all kinds of things, I have a few tricks of my own. You see, when I think I might be getting a treat, I will spin around and put my paw out to shake your hand. While people think I’m really cute to start with well, they tell me that trick makes me even cuter!
While my foster Mom loved me and I loved her, she had to travel and could not continue to foster me. That was a sad day for me -- but she told me I’m a trooper -- so I kissed her good-bye and moved on.
More than anything in the world, I need, a special person or persons to love me - and let me love them back! I’m a low maintenance guy that likes to please – I’m mellow, loyal, obedient, a good walker and a little guy who also enjoys rides in the car. I like to lay beside you if you are reading or watching TV and just be near you. I want to please and am an excellent companion (and a good watch dog, too!)
