Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Trixie. Picked up as a stray by the Stockton Animal Shelter on July 4th, we met her at Brentwood's Harvest Festival on July 11th. She looked so sad and was in desperate need of a bath and some grooming. Since she was just spayed on July 9th, we did the best we could and shaved off her matted, dirty hair. Trixie is a real gem in the home - quiet, gets along fine with her foster siblings big & small, and has taken a liking to the dog park. She's a little unsure on leash but is eager to learn. Appears to be completely potty trained - figured out the doggie door pretty quick. Trixie isn't a fan of the crate at night, so foster mom has been breaking the rules and letting her sleep in bed with one of the resident humans. She stays put all night! Rest assured that Trixie will be an ideal pet for someone, maybe even you! Animal Rescue Recon makes sure that each dog is current on its vaccinations, has been or will be spayed or neutered, and is microchipped to help keep pets out of the shelters and get them back home where they belong.
