My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rooster is an absolute sweetheart. He is a 3 year old mini long haired Dachshund. He is basically housetrained but doesn’t let you know yet except he paces! Has had some accidents but is getting better.
He follows his foster mom around and is always by her side and he enjoys lounging with his fur brothers and sisters. He will need a home with another small dog that will run and play with him and continue to show him the ropes. A fenced yard will also be a requirement to keep him safe.
He is currently living with three other dogs, two of which are German Shepherds and a Yorkie mix. He gets along with all of them. He needs to go a cat free home. He has also been around young children and has not shown any aggression. He is a little scared of sudden movements. He loves to snuggle, loves to sleep with us. He gives lots of kisses. Goes in the crate during the day but I think he would do fine with free roam once he is fully house trained as he has not chewed anything.
We are working on leash skills He is still shy and timid, but we are seeing improvement in him each day.
