Nels's Story...
Nels, Neil, Neilan, and Nellie (born approximately 4/25/15) came to Fluff Buddies when they were about 6-7 weeks old. They were found in a back yard in Fair Oaks.

These cute gray tabbies are playful, gentle and social. They like to chase balls down the hall, run across the sofa and attack each other's tail. Nellie, the only female, is a bit of a princess, much preferring to come to you on her schedule. The boys are more content to be picked up and held by their people. All four like to sleep with and be around people.

They get along well with other cats. They have not been exposed to dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nels, a North Highlands Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in North Highlands, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in North Highlands.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Highlands already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Highlands breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Highlands paves the way for another one to be saved.
