Kerchak has all of the qualities desired for a great family dog!

Kerchak is a debonair dog who has lots of love and affection to give. Rescued from the streets , Kerchak immediately impressed everyone with his friendliness and affectionate interactions with all he meets. Named after the silverback gorilla in Tarzan, Kerchak also has a bit of silver on his back.

Here's the scoop on Kerchak:
-Likes adults, plays beautifully with kids, other dogs and probably cats.
-Medium to high -energy dog who loves to plays ball; can get a bit mouthy but gentle.
-Can switch gears and chill at a dog-friendly cafe or by the couch with a rawhide.
-Learns tricks quickly and happy to learn whatever you want to teach him.
-Loves to cuddle and sometimes thinks he's a lap dog!
-Walks at a comfortable pace on a harness leash
-Can get jumpy when excited but responds well to redirection with praise and treats.
-Gets excited when meeting new dogs – will bark but just because he can’t wait to meet them!

Kerchak bonds deeply with humans and very much wants to please. He thrives with firm but gentle guidance but will take it to heart if hard on him.
