My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oh Tango, you handsome, handsome dog you. Robin thinks he looks exactly like her “almost” foster failure Mia. Perhaps we can put the two of them together. What do you think Sarah J.?

Tango is 2 year old itty bitty Chihuahua mix. He is part of the Cecy and Heidy family. But more to come on them (Tango, Cecy and Heidy came to us together as a family.)

Not all Chihuahua’s are easy going and calm. But this guy is incredibly sweet and cuddly and playful. Tango is a total lover, not a fighter. Tango loves all people and other dogs.
Tango is a very smart little fella, who at first is timid but then warms up very quickly; once he understands that you are a friend.

Tango loves his people and wants to go to a home with folks who want to walk him and pet him, and enjoy his overall awesomeness. At the end of the day, Tango would love people who appreciate a great dog, a good meal, and a nice walk.

No Borders Animal Rescue Society (NOBARS)

We are a registered non profit society. All our dogs are vaccinated, sterilized and are fostered in homes with families.

NOBARS believes that a dog is best assessed for a new home environment by living in one!!!! Therefore we do not use kennels, but have a network of approved foster homes where our dogs can be properly assessed before being offered for rehoming. Our foster homes offer a varied range of experiences which means we can choose an appropriate foster home for each dog, but it also means our dogs are able to experience situations which are invaluable to owners looking to take on a new forever friend, such as children, cats and other dogs.
