Here's what the humans have to say about me:
He has the soul of an angel.
Monty had been found seriously injured when Friends for Life gave him the chance he needed to heal and, ultimately, thrive. His jaw was broken, and he had an operation to repair and straighten it. He now has the jawline of Rock Hudson! He then found a home to call his own for a couple of years, but his owners’ situations changed. They could no longer care for him, so he’s back at Friend For Life in search of his forever home.
Monty has the spirit of a fighter and the soul of an angel. Even in his darkest hour, he would purr loudly at gentle affection. His injuries have left him blind. His lack of sight has not stopped him from learning to find his way, using a litter box, and even climbing up on some elevated surfaces on his own. He is truly a miracle and his resilience is inspiring. You can read the entire extraordinary story at the Friends for Life blog under “Monty’s Village.”
His favorite thing is to listen to the sounds out the window. He also really enjoys playing with a cat wand and trapping it in his paws. While not a fan of being picked up and held, Monty loves attention and petting. Monty is a living testament to the power of compassion and community. Having this handsome boy as part of your family might very well change your life and even what you thought to be possible.
