Shippo's Info...

I am already neutered, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Shippo's Story...
Shippo is a very affectionate cat who loves everyone he meets, gets along well with other cats and even dogs. He came to SCHS Cat Cottage with a bad flea dermatitis that was aggravated by a stressful living situation with 5 cats and a dog. The owner did not have the means to care for him and he had no hair and sores all over him. We have taken very good care of him and he is now looking very handsome and feeling much better. Please come to the SCHS Cat Cottage to see Shippo and consider adopting him for your sweet lap cat. We are located on Hwy 9 South in Mountain View, AR. You can also call 870-269-5200 for more information about adopting Shippo.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shippo, a Mountain View Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Mountain View, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Mountain View.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mountain View already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mountain View breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mountain View paves the way for another one to be saved.
