Spots's Story...
Handsome Spots is patiently waiting for his 'fur'ever home....could that home be with you?? Unique Spots was surrendered to MHS when he was just an impish little kitten. Now at 1 1/2 years old, this boy has grown up in the shelter setting, and has come to learn of a tiny kennel as his 'home.' It's time for Spots to know what a home of his own really is- one where he can be pam'purr'ed and adored, without having to share his affections with the over 100 kitties also currently residing here at MHS. Spots would love to be able to easily saunter from room to room- checking the goings on from a sunny window...sleeping away the days on a cozy couch cushion...and to happily trot to the loving owner who excitedly calls his name. Want to get to know this adorable boy with the speckled black and white feet? Come in today to meet him!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spots, a Muskegon Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Muskegon, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Muskegon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Muskegon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Muskegon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Muskegon paves the way for another one to be saved.
