My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Harrison is such a sweet dog! He appears to be a Lab mix, maybe with pug or bulldog? Harrison is three years old. He has a shiny black coat with snow white markings that is perfect for petting, and has an adorable curly tail. Our southern partner shelter tells us, “Harrison is a well-mannered walking companion and is housebroken. He looks forward to daily outings in the shelter yard, where he loves to run and play. Our shelter has recently started a play groups program, and Harrison has a lot of fun with his fellow shelter companions. He will stand up on his back legs and ‘dance’ for you if you offer him a treat. Harrison is always ready for quality cuddle time, too. He has a loving heart and will be a devoted part of the family lucky enough to take him home. This is one very special dog! He does well with people of all ages and also gets along with cats!”

Their shelter uses the Meet Your Match program and this is Harrison’s evaluation: Orange – Goofball: “I’m a fun-loving, happy-all-the-time, glass-is-half full kind of dog looking for someone who loves to laugh and play around. Must have a great sense of humor and some time to spend with me. I’m on a mission to please you.”

To apply to adopt this dog, please visit our web site to access our application and learn more about adoption through Lucky Pup Rescue, www.luckypuprescue.org, or request an application via email, luckypuprescue@yahoo.com.

Please note, we do not have a physical location, but we are supported by a network of wonderful foster homes that are spread throughout New England. A dog will need to be visited by a prospective adopter in the foster home where they are feeling safe and comfortable.
