Hello there! My name is Angel and I am a beautiful Umbrella Cockatoo. I came to rescue because my owner was beginning to travel and I was unable to go, so she felt it was time to find me a more stable and permanent situation. Now that I am in foster care, I have a foster Mommy who loves me lots and is working very hard to transition me from a seed based diet to a healthier diet with pellets, fresh vegetables and fruits, chop, and healthy nuts. When I first got here, I was a little scared, but every day I am getting better. I love to sit on your shoulder and if you are sitting down I will come down your arm and lean into your chest for you to love me. I do say a few words like Hell-O, Pretty Bird, Grandpa and I also cry like a dog and I like to Wolf whistle. I can get loud when I want attention, but my foster Mom is working with me on that. I really hope that you will come and visit me very soon to see if maybe you would like to make me part of your family – I really love human attention and I really need your love!
