My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB 11/16/13 Harry is the sweetest little guy, he loves to play with the other dogs, likes to be held, plays patty-cake and is gorgeous! When Harry was surrendered from a breeding facility, he was extremely shy, very fearful and just plain scared to death - he was not socialized and it affected him. Over the months, he has made a big change and is ready for his own home. When Harry leaves he will need an adjustment period. He is not a social butterfly with people he is not use to. You will need to help him out a little till he feels comfortable. No children. Harry would do best in an adult only home with a routine. Harry is about 8 pounds, neutered, heartworm negative and on preventative.

The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers.

After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home.

Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.
