Sammy's Story...
Sammy is a gentle, super laid-back, calm kitten who loves cuddling so much he would choose people cuddles over eating or playing with other cats. This loverboy is a 4 month old male that was rescued from a hoarding situation with more than 30 cats. When cuddling with people isn't available, Sammy enjoys playing with toys, bird watching from the window, and wrestling with the other cats in his foster home. Sammy is familiar with quiet dogs and older kids, and would love attention, cuddling and play from any or all of those types of roommates. If you are interested in adopting this kitten, please contact the foster, Linda M. at 419-380-2449. - See more at:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sammy, a Toledo Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Toledo, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Toledo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toledo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toledo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toledo paves the way for another one to be saved.
