Scruffy's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Scruffy's Story...

Poor Scruffy was given up by his previous family. He was anxious, stressed and filthy dirty when he first came to us, so we cleaned him up and voila, he’s gorgeous! Even though he may not have had much stability in the past, he is a fun filled little guy who is full of character and loves to play. He is good with other dogs and loves being around people. He is best suited to a home where somebody is around a fair amount, as he needs a little supervision and training. He was left outside neglected, so everything is new for him to learn. Scruffy is very smart and a fast learner, so it shouldn’t take him long to pick up on the house rules. He’s really a great little guy to pal around. Come and meet him at our adoption events!

If you are interested in meeting Scruffy, please download the Adoption Questionnaire, fill it out and fax it back to us at (310) 362-0321. You can also meet this and/or other available dogs at our weekend adoptions.

[Scruffy is about 2 years old and weighs 16 lbs.]

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scruffy, a Marina del Rey Bichon Frise dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise for sale in Marina del Rey, or seeking a Bichon Frise dog from a breeder in Marina del Rey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marina del Rey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marina del Rey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise breeders who help with Bichon Frise rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marina del Rey paves the way for another one to be saved.
