My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Recently, one of our volunteers and fosters contacted us about an urgent situation where dogs had been living in filth and mud their whole lives. She, along with a crew of other kind volunteers, stepped up to help find rescues for these 37 dogs (some of which still need rescues). All of the dogs were living in mud and feces, and due to the rain, the kennels were flooded with water. The dogs were sleeping in old barrels that were also filled with mud. All of this started with four dogs who were not altered and bred with one another.

We were able to save one of these babies. This guy is Hutch. He was born into the situation and is learning what it's like to be a family dog. His foster mom reports that he is great with other dogs, good with her cats, and has not had a single accident. Hutch is very shy right now but warming up quickly and he doesn't have an aggressive bone in his body! He is as sweet as pie. Hutch is about 3 years old and just got neutered today which means he will be available for adoption very soon! Aside from a skin infection caused by a flea infestation which is being treated, he is healthy.
