Tina Fey's Story...
Meet owner surrender Tina! She was dropped at the shelter for one single reason - she grew too big and she didnt meet their apartment required weight limit. She is such a sweetheart and total goofball. She has a quite strange build - the owners claimed she was a wheaten terrier, but she looks more like a large dog with stubby legs. Like a petite basset griffon vandeen, but a bit longer and larger. Her quirkiness is endearing and we hope you love her for a unique build and look! 1.7 years old and looking for love in a family that doesnt care what she weighs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tina Fey, a Phoenix Giant Schnauzer/Basset Griffon Vendeen dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Giant Schnauzer/Basset Griffon Vendeen for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Giant Schnauzer/Basset Griffon Vendeen dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Giant Schnauzer/Basset Griffon Vendeen breeders who help with Giant Schnauzer/Basset Griffon Vendeen rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
