Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This dog is being fostered in Oklahoma and must be adopted within the Dallas, North Central Texas or the southern Oklahoma area.
NAME: CoCo
GENDER: Female (Spayed)
AGE: About 10 - 14 months
WEIGHT: About 10 Pounds
DOGS/CATS: Loves other small dogs, Gets along with cats
CHILDREN: Will be good with children
Coco is a very calm, easy going gal that will warm even the coldest heart. Coco was a stray in Dallas that was taken in by dog lover and equally warmhearted CRT alumni. She was super skinny and had been on her own for awhile. But she is looking better every day.
Coco is the kind of girl that sits back and watches those that are in her world. She won't push her way thru a crowd, she won't beg for attention. But she will find a safe, comfortable spot where it is easy to watch you! For Coco, she wants whatever her human wants. If it's to be left alone while you type up her bio on the computer or you are ready to snuggle on the couch and watch TV at the end of the day. She's there for you in the way you need her to be. She relishes sleeping in bed with you but she won't make a fuss about it if that isn't possible.
Coco gets along great with the other dogs in her foster home. There is also a cat and she really could care less about him. There are no kids but Coco would do fine with older mature kids. I don't think younger ones would be an issue but she doesn't seem like the type that would want to interact. She is definitely not a risk for injury to anyone. However, she herself has long, thin legs that seem to go on forever, so some caution would be needed for her well being.
It's really hard to say if we have even seen Coco's true personality yet. She has only barked once, very briefly, at a noise heard at the neighbors. She loves to stand on her back legs and stretch her front legs as high as they go when she wants to get your attention or when you come home to say hello.
CoCo is very smart. She has mastered the doggie door and potty training. She is crate trained and does fine on a leash. Princess Coco awaits her Chariot ride home.
CoCo is spayed, micro chipped, up-to-date on shots, HW negative. and on heartworm prevention. She is ready to join a loving family - could that family be yours?
