Joshua's Story...
Joshua enjoys playing, running and jumping with his siblings. He is a fun kitty to watch as he explores his world. He is a handsome little fella with short white and apricot hair. The story goes that he was born in a boat and his momma cat kept moving the kittens around making their rescue quite an adventure. His adventures continue as he awaits his forever home. Born 4/15/2015, Joshua is up to date on boosters and he will be neutered when age appropriate. He is litter box trained and an inside kitty. Do you have a spot in your heart for Joshua?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Joshua, a McCormick Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in McCormick, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in McCormick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McCormick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McCormick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McCormick paves the way for another one to be saved.
