Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This hunk can dunk! Maverick is black Labrador Retriever mix weighing about 80 pounds. At 6 1/2 years of age (approx DOB 5/2010), he is very playful and healthy; he truly loves to run! Mav also loves his foster family, plays well with other dogs, loves children, and especially enjoys playing outdoors in a game of tussle, tag or chase. Maverick is too large and physical for young children or older adults; his excitement converts quickly to exuberance. As most Labs, Maverick also enjoys retrieving tennis balls! Maverick is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm-free, and microchipped. He needs a large securely fenced yard for his safety and preferably another dog for a companion. Maverick is also housebroken, crate and leash trained. He would truly love someone who could walk or run him daily. Maverick would like someone to take care of him forever . . . could your family be the right match for Maverick?
***IMPORTANT- PLEASE READ- Due to the nature of our adoption process, our fosters are only able to consider forever families within a reasonable driving distance of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. A vet reference and trial adoption will be done before finalizing the adoption. Thank you for your understanding.
