My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet the coolest little girl ever to come out of the south! Sullivan has the best personality and is super easy and so much fun to have around. Sully was rescued with her 3 babies out of Gordon County’s high-kill north Georgia Shelter. She and all her amazing puppies (Reno, Ripley and Regan) all had a bit of mange, a very treatable skin condition so no one would look at them due to their hair loss. But their foster mom knew it was very treatable and easy thing and thought them all so beautiful… so home with her they came. We have since discovered that Sully is a bit visually impaired. Her lack of total sight does not affect much of anything except that she uses her other senses more- as she smells treats in front of her rather than seeing them! She gets around just fine and you don’t have to do anything for her! Now after her mange treatment her hair has grown back and her amazing personality have emerged. Beautiful momma Sullivan is between one and two years, and is the most adorable mix of Shar Pei and lab (we think?). We even see some French bulldog in her sweetness. Sullivan is not the most photogenic foster we’ve ever had- but you will not find a sweeter and more affectionate companion! Miss Sullivan has personality plus and a ton of affection. She is small and sturdy (weighing 38lbs) and a calm, medium energy level. She is a great size for long walks and daily runs and weekend hikes. Sully LOVES to play with other dogs and she would really enjoy a home with another dog. She gets along great with her fosters other pups- big and small! Sullivan is good on the leash, she is sooo super smart and such a quick learner. She knows sit and stay and come and knows a lot of her other commands. Sully was a terrific mom and know is ready to be an amazing companion for you. Sullivan is good with the mellow and dog savvy cats at foster Tracy’s house. Great with adults of all ages as well as kids, she would love an active family as she is enthusiastic, active and playful. She will bond with you quickly and be just the most loveable and amazing little girl. Sullivan is crate trained and house trained and would be an awesome candidate for doggie day care or Canine Good Citizen training. This active, outgoing and self-assured cutie has an eagerness to please and learn! She is not a barker, is quiet in the house and her coat is gorgeous and easy to maintain. She loves the outdoors and car rides and is excellent in the car. She wants to be everywhere you are but not to the point of being “clingy”. I just can’t say enough about this elegant little girl who takes a hold of everyone’s heart after they get to know her! Sully can’t wait to meet the beach and the mountains too. She is athletic but not jumpy but does love to snuggle and take over your bed or the pet bed!! She doesn’t mind rain or inclement weather but still enjoys “dress up” and looking cute and warm! Sully is friendly and easy with strangers, and is spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped. Miss “Personality plus” Sullivan will be driving to Washington on July 22nd with arrival in Woodinville on July 25th. She and we would love it if this adaptable and amazingly loveable little mom had you waiting to meet her. Any questions, email Pam at raincityrescue@gmail.com or go online to complete an application: www.raincityrescue.com (choose adopt tab). Her adoption fee is $500. The family who adopts this sweet, extremely playful and most affectionate doll baby will be the luckiest! She’s as fun and happy as they come and so deserving of an active and outgoing family…Sully is just an absolutely great girl!
