My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is one of five pups were whelped (born) and raised in the woods. We think they were whelped in mid to late May. A family took in an adult male and adult female basset with the five puppies, but obviously, the male is not the daddy. Their mama was a basset hound, but we have no idea who the sneaky daddy is. We speculate he may have been a black and tan dauchshund.

The puppies are being treated for worms and mange in their foster homes, and they should be ready for adoption around August 8th when they are healthy. As their personalities emerge, we will post more details. Get your application in quickly if you want to adopt!
