Jerry's Story...
Look at those ears!! Does it get any cuter than Jerry? Jerry came to us from the local animal control where he and his littermates were dumped. They were turned in by the owner who said they were an unplanned litter from a Pit Bull mom and a Chihuahua dad. Jerry is only about 10 weeks old and he is now looking for a forever home. He is typical cute little playful puppy. He is fostered in a home with other dogs and does well with them. His foster mom reports that this little guy is so sweet and has lots of kisses to give. He is very brave and loves to climb and jump. He walks well on a leash and is working very hard on his potty manners. Jerry is up-to-date on vaccinations, neutered, dewormed and microchipped. If you want to give Jerry a forever home, please complete an adoption application at ITVrescue.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jerry, a Evansville Chihuahua/Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Evansville, or seeking a Chihuahua/Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Evansville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Evansville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Evansville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Chihuahua/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Evansville paves the way for another one to be saved.
