Cookie's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Cookie's Story...
Cookie is full of personality, and it shows. She will drink from the giant dog bowl instead of the cat bowl, thank you very much! She is a beautiful dilute calico who is very inquisitive. Cookie likes to sit on your shoulder or help out with your work or hobbies, as you can see from her pictures. She also likes to snuggle with her foster people or kitten sisters, and will walk right over the napping dog to get where she wants to be. She is experienced with other cats and kittens, big dogs, and children, and does well with all of them. What a resume! Don't miss out on this special girl.

This animal is fostered in Huntsville, AL. To speak with her foster mom, please email info@FORrescue.net. If you'd like to complete an application (non-binding) and get things started quickly, then complete the application at www.FORrescue.net. Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cookie, a Marietta Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
