My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone! My name is Ruby! I am a young energetic girl who is looking for her forever home. My foster mom says that I should tell you a little about me. Here it goes… My foster home came with 2 Beagle girls and a Beagle/Lab boy. I love to play and wrestle with the younger Beagle girl but if she’s not in the mood and my foster beagle/lab brother is not interested either, I entertain myself with a toy or Nylabone. I also love to play fetch, but forget to bring the toy back sometimes.
I am house trained. I am used to having a big dog yard to “do my thing” in, but also know a little bit about going potty on a leash, if necessary.
I am also crate trained. I spend about 4 hours a day in a crate while my foster mom goes to work. It’s not my favorite thing, but I am learning that a treat filled Kong makes it easier.
When it is time to settle down, I love to snuggle. I will cuddle up on the couch or bed right next to a human or one of the other dogs.
My foster mom says that I should disclose the fact that I can be a bit vocal at times, especially when she comes home. My foster parents say it’s not really my fault since the other dogs make lots of noise too.
My foster parents are helping me out with what they call “manners”. They’re also teaching me basic commands like “sit” and “come” and also how to walk nicely on a leash. They say I’m the “bestest pup ever” and that I am very smart. I like it when they say that… Makes me feel fuzzy all over…
I am also learning that it is fun to go to new places like the local feed and pet stores. Besides riding in a car –which is really fun- I also get treats in those places… Isn’t that awesome? I just give them a big smile and they give me treats!!! Needless to say, I love car rides!
If I sound like the perfect girl for you, please contact the great people here at MW BREW. They know how to get in contact with my foster parents and they will be happy to tell you more about me
