Grover's Story...
WANTED: Somebunny to love. Grover is the sweetest little one year old Netherland Dwarf bunny, full of personality and countless hours of entertainment! This fun fella gets along with people of all ages, and he’s even met and played with some of our kittens! Grover was found abandoned outside, and sadly, his owner wasn’t ever located - even after posting fliers in the neighborhood. He is just as loveable as can be, and is looking for a home where he gets to enjoy plenty of playtime and lots and lots of love! He has a super soft coat and is very affectionate and gentle. He LOVES kale and will choose to devour it anytime, even over blackberries…so I guess you could call him a health nut. Grover is neutered, litter-box trained, and ready to go home with his forever family today! His adoption fee is $20, and his endless love and charm is priceless! Are you Grover’s somebunny? Why Adoption is a Great Option

Grover, a Truckee Netherland Dwarf was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Netherland Dwarf for sale in Truckee, or seeking a Netherland Dwarf from a breeder in Truckee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Truckee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Truckee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Netherland Dwarf breeders who help with Netherland Dwarf rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Truckee paves the way for another one to be saved.
