Moby's Story...
Moby is a happy and loving, mellow 1 year old fellow who is sure to melt your heart. He came to us from someone who couldn’t care for him anymore, so he’s eager to find that special person who will promise him a loving and forever home! Moby is very scent motivated, so taking him on lots of fragrant trail walks will really make his heart soar! He will need some training, including potty training, but with a reliable committed person and a consistent routine he should catch on just fine. Moby has met dogs, cats, and kids and handled each scenario very nicely, so we think he’ll settle in to almost any home with relative ease. He is quite the little charmer and we are sure he will make a wonderful addition to your life. Moby is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and full of love!! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Moby, a Truckee Chihuahua/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Truckee, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Truckee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Truckee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Truckee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Truckee paves the way for another one to be saved.
