Watson's Story...
MY ADOPTION FEE HAS BEEN PAID BY A DONOR! PLEASE COME MEET ME!

Meet Watson! He's believed to be a collie/lab mix around 6 years old. Watson is a really sweet boy but is shy at first. He will need a patient guardian as he has lived his whole life at CARA. We still have hope of finding him his forever home and family. His adoption fee has been paid by a generous donor, so please help us find him a great home.

If you are interested in adopting this pet, please visit www.carams.org for information on our Adoption Process and to fill out an online adoption application.

Breed identification by visual means is unreliable for most dogs. We are only guessing a predominant breed or breed mix. Each dog at CARA is an individual and we do our best to describe each animal based on personality, not by breed label.

Watson is neutered and current on vaccinations

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Watson, a Jackson Labrador Retriever/Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Collie for sale in Jackson, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Collie dog from a breeder in Jackson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jackson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jackson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jackson paves the way for another one to be saved.
