Bear's Story...
Hi! My name is Bear. I'm a 2.5 year old Shepherd cross. I have been neutered, de-wormed and I have received my first set of vaccinations. I will still require a rabies vaccine after I am adopted.

I'm a very confident boy who loves to be outside and explore. I do know some basic commands and with the correct motivation, such as toys and treats, I'll show you what I know. I don't enjoy rough play, so I need to go to a home with older children. Young ones are too active for me. I do enjoy the company of other dogs, but would prefer to meet them first before you decide to take me home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bear, a Lloydminster German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Lloydminster, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Lloydminster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lloydminster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lloydminster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lloydminster paves the way for another one to be saved.
